Police Tries to Free Kidnapped Persons From Pankisi Gorge

Ambassador and Consul General of Spain in Moscow arrives in Tbilisi today to meet Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia Kakha Targamadze regarding the case of Spaniard businessmen abducted last November in Georgia. The law enforcement agencies have already started operation in Pankisi gorge to liberate them. Couple of days ago kidnappers demanded from the relatives of businessmen $250,000 ransom.

Police also tries to release one citizen of Georgia Aziz Khalilov abducted yesterday from eastern Georgia and now detained in Pankisi gorge by kidnappers. They demand $30,000 ransom from the relatives of Khalilov.
