Telephone Conversation Held Between Shevardnadze and Putin

President of Georgia Eduard Shevardnadze and President of Russia Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation yesterday evening. Two presidents agreed on cooperation of Russian and Georgian law enforcement agencies to counter terrorism. 

Situation in the region as well as bilateral relations were also discussed. Shevardnadze and Putin reached consensus about hastening the work on a new framework Russian-Georgian agreement.
