Protest Action in front of the State Chancellery

On October 31st approximately at 11:00 am, representatives of the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition and non-government sector started a protest action in front of the State Chancellery in connection with intrusion of State Security Ministry employees into the office of “Rustavi 2” broadcasting company on October 30. Protesters are declaring their support to the company and demand protection of the free mass media.

500 people, gathered in front of the State Chancellery started moving towards Rustaveli avenue around 1:00 pm to block the road with piquet.
