I Will Resign If Targamadze Resigns – Zhvania Told the Protesters

Parliamentary Chairman Zurab Zhvania declared on the meeting in front of the Parliament that he is ready to resign in case Internal Affairs Minister Kakha Targamadze will resign.

Zurab Zhvania stated that only the preliminary elections of the parliament could defuse tension. “Preliminary will be possible if only Targamadze resigns”, Zhvania stated to the thousands of protesters gathered in front of Parliament building.
