Hundreds of Protesters Remain in Front of the Parliament
At the moment 800 people are gathered at the Parliament building in downtown of Georgian capital Tbilisi. Protesters demand resignation of President Shevardnadze.
MP and ex-Justice Minister Mikheil Saakashvili asked the thousands of protesters demanding President Shevardnadze’s resignation to cease protests for now to let normal political process flow.
Speaking to the protesting students late yesterday Saakashvili proposed them to continue working through their university self-governance agencies in case their future support of free media is necessary.
