Shevardnadze Will Talk on Bombardment with Putin
(Tbilisi. November 28. Civil Georgia) – President Shevardnadze intends to raise the issue of bombardment of Pankisi gorge on the upcoming meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimer Putin on November 30, Georgian President’s spokesman Kakha Imnadze stated today. Georgian President is to visit Moscow on November 29-30 to participate in the CIS summit.
Several warplanes flying from Russia violated Georgian airspace and bombed the unpopulated territories in Pankisi on November 27.
Eduard Shevardnadze holds a special meeting in the State Chancellery with the power ministers and the Parliamentary Spokesperson at the moment.
