Internal Affairs Minister Promised CoE to Protect Human Rights

(Tbilisi. December 4. Civil Georgia) – Internal Affairs new Minister stated today after the meeting with the Council of Europe’s (CoE) delegation that the protection of human rights would be the main part of the reforms in the Ministry.

Delegation of CoE visits Georgia to evaluate how Georgia complies with its commitments laid dawn by the organization when Georgia joined the CoE in 1999.

Human rights organizations slam dawn Internal Affairs Ministry for numerous facts of human rights’ abuses.
