MPs Criticize Draft of 2002 Budget

(Tbilisi. December 27. Civil Georgia) – The Citizens’ Union faction discussed the draft of the budget for 2002 on December 26. In case the Finance Ministry does not amend the draft, faction will not support it. They demand to increase expenditures for 100 million Lari ($47 million).

The Industrialist and four factions from the Revival bloc are against of the proposed budget as well.

The Parliament is to discuss the draft budget for 2002 on December 27. It seems that the draft will be disapproved.
