Nino Chkhobadze Back on the Ministerial Post

(Tbilisi. December 27. Civil Georgia) – The Parliament approved Nino Chkhobadze’s candidature on the Protection of Environment and Natural Resources Minister’s post. 99 MPs were for the candidature, 49 voted against Chkhobadze.  

Nino Chkhobadze was the only ministerial candidate disapproved by the Parliament after President Shevardnadze sacked entire cabinet on November 1. The President re-nominated Chkhobadze on the ministerial post.
