Vice-president of the Basketball Association Shot Dead

(Tbilisi, January 22, Civil Georgia)Vice-president of the Georgian basketball association Dudu Dadiani was shot dead this morning when entering the Sports Department.

Dadiani, born 1969, was shot with three bullets from the pistol. He died in emergency room of the Tbilisi hospital.

Chief of Tbilisi Police Kakha Bakuradze did not make any substantive comments, he mentioned that the police is investigating several versions, including the private and business motives.

Dadiani was formerly the center and captain of the Tbilisi team Vita.
