Georgian Defense Ministry Confirms Armed Units are in Kodori

Georgian Defense Ministry confirmed that 8 helicopters flying from Sokhumi, breakaway Abkhazian capital dispatched armed units to Kodori gorge, the only part of Abkhazia controlled by the Georgian government.

Georgian MP Iveri Chelidze stated at the Parliamentary session on April 12 that Russia moved tens of soldiers to Kodori.

Although Georgian Defense Ministry cannot specify whether the troops are Russian of Abkhazian.
