US Military Experts Inspect Vaziani Base

(Tbilisi, May 9, Civil.ge) – US Special Operations Command Europe [SOCEUR] site survey team inspects Vaziani military base on May 9.

Former Russian military base at Vasiani is the one of those bases where the US military trainers are to prepare Georgian anti-terrorist units within the frames of the Train-and-Equip program.

Vaziani base is the last one, which is inspected by the US military experts.

After the SOCEUR team will end coordination of the Train-and-Equip program’s logistical requirements, up to 150 US military trainers will arrive in Georgia by the end of May.
