Parliamentary Chairperson Wants to Cease Sessions Before Local Elections
(Tbilisi, May 16, Civil.ge) – Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze stated at the Parliamentary session on May 15 that it would be better to cease sessions before the local self-governance elections.
“I do not want the Parliament to become arena of mutual accusations and the pre-election campaign of the political parties,” Nino Burjanadze said.
Local self-governance elections are scheduled for June 2.
