US Military Official Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi, May 21, Civil Georgia) – Leslie Fuller, Commander of the US special forces in Europe, meets Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze today. The Train-and-Equip Program will be discussed during the meeting, Defense Ministry reports.

Gen Leslie Fuller visits Georgia in the frames of the Train-and-Equip Program considering US assistance to Georgia in prepating antiterrorist military groups.

The US military official had an appointment with President Shevardnadze yesterday, May 20.
