US Military Trainers Say Georgian Officers are Well Prepared

(Tbilisi, May 30, Civil Georgia) – US military instructors are satisfied with the Georgian officers’ level of preparation. US military trainers’ team member Major Mathew Carran stated at the news conference on May 30. 

“Many of the Georgian officers have trained in the United States and they have lot of experience in both staff and combat operations,” Major Carran said.

The Train-and-Equip program is on the stage of the command and control training for the Georgian officers.

This phase of the program aims to prepare professional staff that maintains the knowledge, has contingency plans and operational control.
