NGOs Urge Political Parties for Calm Elections

(Tbilisi, May 30, Civil Georgia) – Several NGOs called today to the political parties participating in the local self-governance election, scheduled for June 2, for the prevention of violence during the elections.

“Pre-election campaign of the political parties becomes more and more aggressive, that will lead to the violence,” the statement issued by the seven local NGO says.

They call all the political groups to take responsibility for the consequences that might be caused by the aggressive election campaign.
