Parliament Approves Candidatures of New Ambassadors
(Tbilisi, June 8, Civil Georgia) – The Parliament approved candidatures of Petre Chkheidze on the post of the ambassador of Georgia to Afghanistan and Turkmenistan and Giorgi Burduli – representative of Georgia to the OSCE on June 7.
Petre Chkheidze was representative of Georgia to the UN since 1994 up to now. Giorgi Burduli was the First Deputy Foreign Minister since 1998.
MPs unanimously supported both of the candidatures presented by the President.
