De Facto Former Abkhaz Official Says Abkhazia should Be the Part of Georgia
(Tbilisi, June 8, Civil Georgia) – One of the leaders of the Abkhazian community in the United States and former representative of the unrecognized republic of Abkhazia Inal Kazan visits to the Georgian capital Tbilisi.
At the meeting with the representatives of the Georgian Parliament on June 7 Inal kazan said that Abkhazia should receive broad range of authority and rights within the Georgian state.
Inal Kazan, who was one of the main anti-Georgian Abkhazian activists, has dispute with present leadership of the breakaway Abkhazia. Inal Kazan protested against the statements of Anri Jergenia concerning the possibility of becoming Abkhazia part of the Russian Federation.
