Pro-Presidential Factions form Coalition in Parliament

(Tbilisi, June 12, Civil Georgia) – The new coalition will be created in the Parliament in the nearest future. Pro-Presidential Citizens’ Union of Georgia, Alliance for New Georgia and Tanadgoma factions will form the new coalition.

Irakli Gogava, Chairman of the Alliance for New Georgia faction stated at the news conference today that the coalition would closely cooperate with other factions.

Gogava said the coalition would have especially close relations with New Abkhazia – Christian-Democrats faction, led by the former State Minister Vazha Lortkipanidze.

48 MPs will be united in the new parliamentary coalition.
