Defense Ministry Presented Second Edition of White Paper

(Tbilisi, June 29, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Defense Ministry presented second edition of the White Paper on June 28. The document describes the activity that should be carried out till the 2004 in the defense sphere of the country.

Defense Minister, Secretary of National Security Council, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security, Lithuanian Defense Minister, members of the advisory board for security issues of Georgia and other military officials attended the presentation.

Georgian Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze stated that the White Paper represents the “transparency of reforms that is carried out in the Defense Ministry and how the finances in defense are spent.”
