Russian Security Chief Visits Georgia
(Tbilisi, July 9, Civil Georgia) – Secretary of the Russian National Security Council Vladimer Rushailo visits Georgia on July 9-11, Georgian State Chancellery reports.
Today Rushailo will meet his Georgian counterpart Tedo Japaridze. Meeting with the Georgian President is also scheduled during the visit.
Issues of the regional security and fight against terrorism will be discussed at talks with the Georgia leadership.
On July 8 President Shevardnadze denied reports that he intends to discuss with the Russian security chief involvement of Russian troops in Pankisi operation.
