Military Council Session in Poti

A Military Council Session was held today in Poti, town at the Black Sea. Existing military situation at the Black Sea and capacity of Georgian Maritime Defense Forces was discussed at the session.

Recommendations of foreign experts concerning development of Georgian Maritime Forces as well as equipment of the navy and maritime military collaboration between Georgia and Greece was also discussed during the session.

Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze visited the property belonging to Georgian Maritime Defense Forces today.

Meanwhile, planned maritime defense trainings are held in Poti.
