Finance Ministry Reports Surplus in Budget During August
(Tbilisi, September 3, 2002, Civil Georgia) – According to the Georgian Finance Ministry the budget in August was fulfilled without any shortfall.
In August budgetary income consisted 14 million Lari (USD 6,3 million) more than it was last August.
Records of the local budget of Adjara Autonomous Republic remain unknown, as it has been for years. It has transferred no money to the central budget. According to the Finance Ministry, other regions of the country filled Adjara’s shape in the budget.
