New Position in the National Security Council
(Tbilisi, November 29, 2002, Civil Georgia) New post is introduced in the National Security Council of Georgia. Rustavi2 TV reports that the new deputy chairman of the Council will be in charge of the BTC pipeline security issues.
Giorgi Mjavanadze, former deputy head of mission of the Georgian Embassy in Germany, was appointed to the new post.
Issue of the BTC pipeline was supposed to be discussed at today’s session of the council, but later the issue was removed from the agenda.
