Georgia Dispatches New Platoon to Kosovo

(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, December 3, 2002) – Platoon of the Georgian Defense Ministry of 38 soldiers will be dispatched in Kosovo. This is the seventh rotation of the Georgian platoon in Kosovo.

Georgian soldiers operate within the German-Turkish Task Force under the Turkish command in Prizren.

Today the Georgian soldiers left for Turkey to undergo two-week training. After the training they will be dispatched in Kosovo.
