Ukrainian President Visits Georgia
(Tbilisi, December 18, 2002. Civil Georgia) – President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma arrives in Tbilisi on December 18.
Meeting with his Georgian counterpart Eduard Shevardnadze is planned during the one-day visit.
The issue of the bilateral economic relations will be discussed during the visit. The issue of the GUUAM – group of former Soviet states Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova – will also be in the top of the agenda during the meeting of the two Presidents.
“Over the last few years, unique relations were established between Georgia and Ukraine, Georgian President said on December 16 while commenting on Kuchma’s upcoming visit.
On December 19 Leonid Kuchma will leave for Uzbekistan.
