Zhvania Warns Over Election Frauds by Police
Zurab Zhvania, one of the leaders of the Burjanadze-Democrats opposition election bloc, said at a news briefing today, that the police will be on high alert during the parliamentary elections on November 2.
“If police is on high alert, policemen will have no chance to go to polling stations and vote. Special polling stations will be opened for them, where up to 40,000 policemen will vote under the supervision of high-rank police officials, thus they will be forced to vote for the governmental bloc,” Zurab Zhvania said at a special news briefing on September 19.
Zhvania said that the 40,000 votes will be fraud by the police officials.
