Relative of Abkhaz de facto President Shot Dead in Moscow

(Tbilisi February 4, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Salibei Ardzinba, relative of the unrecognized Abkhaz Republic Vladislav Ardzinba was shot dead at his apartment in Moscow late on February 3.

Russian media sources report that Salibei Ardzinba had a private business in Russian capital city.

Salibei Ardzinba chaired a union of Abkhaz combatants, participating in the Georgian-Abkhaz armed conflict in 1992-93.
