Georgian Foreign Minister on Talks in Moscow

(Tbilisi February 18, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagharishvili visits Russian capital Moscow on February 18-19.

Before the departure Georgian Minister said that on February 18 he will meet his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov and hold talks regarding the bilateral relations between Georgia and Russia.

On February 19 Irakli Menagharishvili will hold talks with Russian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology Ilia Klebanov regarding the Russian military bases deployed in Georgia.

Russia demands 11 years for disband of its military bases in Akhalkalaki and Batumi, while Georgia insists on 3 years.
