IMF Urges Georgia for Reforms
(Tbilisi. March 3, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) concluded today its ten-day visit to Georgia.
Georgian State Minister Avtandil Jorbenadze said after the meeting with the delegation that the memorandum of recommendations elaborated during the IMF mission’s visit, underlines importance of the carring out structural reform of the executive government.
The IMF mission also expressed concern regarding the situation in the finance and the energy sectors of the country.
