Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Visits Georgia

(Tbilisi. April 8, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Deputy Foreign Minister Liu Guchan visits Georgia on April 8-10.

Georgian Foreign Ministry reports the Chinese high official will hold talks with Georgian President, Parliamentary Chairperson and Georgian Foreign Minister.

Bilateral cooperation will be discussed during the talks. Economic cooperation will be the top issue discussed in Tbilisi.

Chinese companies are implementing some projects in Georgia. One of them constructs the hydropower station near Pankisi gorge.
