UES, Itera Delegations Visit Georgia
(Tbilisi, August 27, 2003, Civil Georgia) – The delegations of the Russian power companies Unified Energy System (UES) and Itera, the latter supplies Georgia with gas, arrived in Tbilisi on August 26 to prepare the hydro power plants and the power blocks of Tbilisi for winter.
Spokesman for the UES Dmitry Volkov said the UES would elaborate a plan of measures to help Georgia avoid the energy crisis in winter.
