CEC, Political Parties Discuss Voter Lists

Representatives of the political parties and the members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) are holding meeting today to discuss inaccuracy of the voter lists.

According to the opposition parties up to 30% of the eligible voters are not included in the lists, while the representatives of the presidential-backed election alliance For New Georgia dismiss the opposition’s accusation as “exaggerated.”

On October 9 representatives of the political parties, including the pro-presidential bloc, agreed to cooperate in order to secure accurate voter lists.
