CEC Prints Ballots Under High Security Measures

The printing of the ballots for November 2 parliamentary elections, was launched today under the supervision of the security services.

Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Nana Devdariani said today that along with the special guard of the security ministry, representatives of the CEC will attend the printing process in order to prevent any attempt of rigging of ballots.

There were speculations earlier that the authorities intended to print additional ballots in order to rig the November 2 elections.
