Turkey Delivered Aid to Georgian Troops

The Turkish government delivered on October 22 five trucks and five Landrover cars to the 11th motor infantry brigade of the Georgian Defense Ministry. 

The ceremony was held on the Vaziani military base near Tbilisi with the participation of Commander of the Turkish Ground Force, Army Gen. Aytac Yalman, who arrived in Georgia on October 21 to discuss military cooperation between the two countries. 

The Turkish delegation promised that Turkey would continue to provide technical and financial assistance to Georgia in order to upgrade Georgia?s armed forces to the NATO standards.
