Violations Reported in Kutaisi Constituency

Only 29 out of 102 polling stations have opened on time in the Kutaisi constituency of western Georgia.

Voter lists and ballot papers have not been sent to most of the precincts so far. Chairperson of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Nana Devdariani said, the ballot papers for the constituency were delivered to Kutaisi on time.

“Although many polling stations have opened in Kutaisi with delay, this should not become a reason for invalidating the parliamentary elections [there],” Devdariani said on November 2.
