New Rights Condemn Protest Rallies

The New Rights part, which according to the preliminary results fails to clear 7% barrier to secure seats in the new Parliament, condemned today the opposition’s protest rally in the center of Tbilisi.

“Today we witness the struggle for the power. These rallies might lead to unrest and revolution, that is inadmissible,” leader of the New Rights Davit Gamkrelidze said at a news briefing on November 10, adding that they are against any revolution in the country. 

The New Rights party refused to join the opposition’s protest rally against mass ballot fraud.
