Revival Union to Rally in Tbilisi
Revival Union party, led by Adjarian leader Aslan Abashidze, intends to hold a rally in the capital city on November 18 against the opposition.
Tsotne Bakuria one of the leaders of the party said a news briefing today that the Revival Union holds consultation with the Labor Party and the Industrialists on development of the joint measures to resist civil confrontation “masterminded by Saakashvili, Zhvania and Burjanadze [the opposition leaders].”
On November 16 the opposition leaders – Mikheil Saakashvili and Zurab Zhvania, warned that “Shevardnadze and his new ally Aslan Abashidze intend to dispatch policemen, but they will not be dressed in police uniforms.”
“With this kind of acts authorities try to show that they also have supporters,” Zurab Zhvania said.
