World Bank Official Visits Georgia
Donna Dowsett-Coirolo, the World Bank Country Director for Georgia, will visit Tbilisi on 20-23 January.
The aim of her visit is to discuss with the Government the Bank’s draft Country Assistance Strategy and areas where the Bank could best provide its support in the next few years.
Issues related to the Bank’s on-going program of assistance to Georgia will be on the agenda as well.
During the visit the WB Country Director is planned to hold meetings with President-elect Mikheil Saakashvili, Interim President Nino Burjanadze, State Minister Zurab Zhvania, Minister of Finance Zurab Noghaideli and other officials.
Donna Dowsett-Coirolo will also meet with the representatives of international donor community.
