Donors, Georgian Authorities Discuss Cooperation

Representatives of the donor organizations and countries meet today with Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and other members of the cabinet to discuss further cooperation.

At the meeting donor organizations and the Georgian authorities would outline priorities of assistance for Georgia.

“We should assure foreign donors that the assistance will reach the people,” Zurab Zhvania, the Prime Minister told reporters.

Energy sector would be priority for the Georgian authorities. “Georgia will need at least $60 million in order to secure functioning and rehabilitation of the country’s energy sector,” Nika Gilauri told reporters.
