Rightist Opposition Calls Authorities for Tax Liberalization
The Rightist Opposition election bloc, which unites the New Rights and Industrialists parties, called the authorities to amend the tax code as soon as possible.
The leaders of the bloc claim that the authorities only “intimidate business and arrest alleged corrupted officials.”
“It is impossible to assist business development only with this politics. It is very important to create a favorable legal basis,” Davit Gamkrelidze of the New Rights party said at a press conference on March 1.
“The current tax code creates corruption. The tax code should be liberalized as soon as possible,” Gogi Topadze of Industrialists party said.
