Four Killed in Clash in Kutaisi

Four persons including two policemen, one criminal and one by-passer died today as a result of an armed clash between the police and criminals in a western Georgian city of Kutaisi.?

Three policemen were injured.

The clash occurred, when the police tried to arrest group of alleged hijackers of cars. The police failed so far to arrest criminals.

Interior Minister Giorgi Baramidze left for Kutaisi after the incident.
