Georgian, Russian Ministers Discussed Cooperation

Visiting Georgian Defense Minster Gela Bezhuashvili held talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow on March 30.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry latest developments in Georgia, including elections and situation in Adjarian Autonomy were discussed during the meeting.

“Russia is ready to implement all those provisions agreed by Mikheil Saakashvili and Vladimir Putin during their talks in Moscow [in February],” Sergey Lavrov told reporters after talks with the Georgian Defense Minister.

“I am here to show that Georgia is ready to start solving the problems between the two countries,” Georgian Defense Minister Gela Bezhuashvili said.
