Finance Minister Says Adjara Transfers its Dues to the Budget

Finance Minister Zurab Nogaideli told the reporters on April 14 that ?there is no problem regarding transfer of taxes from Adjara.?

He made a comment following the government session. Nogaideli says the dues are transferred regularly.

Refusal of Adjara autonomy to favor its obligations to the state budget was one of the key problems for the government. For years, tax revenues collected in Adjara were used by the local authorities.
