Labor Party Sues CEC, Demands the Annulment of Election Results
The opposition Labor party filed a lawsuit against the Central Election Commission (CEC) and demanded the cancellation of the March 28th parliamentary elections, citing mass ballot fraud.
“The election results were totally rigged and these election results must be annulled,” Giorgi Gugava of the Labor Party told reporters on April 20th.
According to the final results of the polls, the Labor Party received only 6,01% of the votes and failed to win any seats in the new Parliament.
