Russian, Georgian Security Chiefs Discuss South Ossetia

Secretary of the Georgian National Security Council Gela Bezhuashvili held a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Igor Ivanov and discussed the recent developments in breakaway South Ossetia.
 
Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania also said, at the news briefing on July 8, that the Georgian authorities are conducting regular consultations with the Russian side in oreder to defuse tensions in South Ossetia.
