Tskhinvali Accuses Tbilisi of Military Buildup
On October 14 the self-styled South Ossetian Republic accused on the Georgian side of mobilizing extra troops in the vicinity of the regional conflict zone.
?The Georgian troops deployed in the surrounding areas of the conflict zone are actively carrying-out military engineering activities and intelligence in the territory. In the village of Agara, the 21st motor-rifle brigade carries out tactical exercises for carrying-out military operations in mountainous and forest areas,? reads a statement issued by the Press and Information Committee of breakaway South Ossetia.
?The Georgian troops are preparing to carry-out military operation? Tbilisi has not given up plans to solve the conflict through forceful means,? the statement reads.
