Azerbaijan, Moldova Hail GUUAM

The Presidents of Azerbaijan and Moldova expressed their readiness to foster cooperation within frames of the GUUAM, a group of former Soviet countries consisting of Georgia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Moldova.

Interfax news agency quoted Moldovian President Vladimir Voronin during his visit to Azerbaijan on October 26 as saying that “Implementation of particular projects in the frames of GUUAM has changed Moldova’s skeptical stance towards this organization.”

“This organization represents a good tool for solving issues of integration,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.
