Federation of Businessmen Set up

The Georgian Federation of Businessmen, which is slated to become a strong business lobby group, was established on December 6, replacing the previous Taxpayers Union.

Influential media and financial tycoon Badri Patarkatsishvili was elected President of the Georgian Federation of Businessmen. Giorgi Isakadze will be the Executive Director of the Federation.

Badri Patarkatsishvili said, while speaking at the presentation of the Federation on December 6, that the government should keep its promise and adopt the initial version of the draft law on financial and tax amnesty, which will apply to a broad range of persons.
