Official Denies Resignation of Energy Minister
Spokesperson for the Georgian President, Alana Gagloeva, denied media speculations that Energy Minister Nika Gilauri will be dismissed, referring to these rumors as ?groundless.?
?These reports are not true; hence reports that Irakli Chubinishvili [chief of the President?s administration] will be appointed as the new Energy Minister are not true as well,? Alana Gagloeva said.
Nika Gilauri intends to present a two-year program on development of the country?s energy system at a governmental session later on February 25.
